Iceland in Residence was delivered jointly by six recognised Polish documentary photographers from the Sputnik Photos and three Icelandic film-makers. They worked on individual projects in three teams: Rafał Milach, Andrei Liankevich and Huldar Breiðfjörð; Michał Łuczak, Adam Pańczuk and Helena Stefánsdóttir; Jan Brykczyński, Agnieszka Rayss and Kristján Loðmfjörð.
Their several months of work resulted in the production of three documentaries: The Grace of God, If Weather Permits and Sisters, which show, on a microscale, the life of the islanders and the day-to-day challenges they face.
